Like all cancers nowadays, the care of people with lung cancer involves a multidisciplinary team, all of whom have expertise in treating lung cancer. This team may include some or all of the following healthcare professionals:

• Respiratory physician
• Medical oncologist
• Radiation oncologist
• Surgeon
• Radiologist
• Pathologist
• Oncology/Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
